About the Lone Survivor Foundation
Foundation was established to provide a holistic, integrated approach to
restoring hope and wellness for our wounded service members and their
families. The foundation serves all military branches and focuses on
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and
serious combat injury.
At the core of the foundations’ current
holistic approach of healing and restoration are five-day ranch
retreats. The retreats are completely cost-free to veterans and
active-duty military personnel and their spouses, children, or key
support system. The retreats provide a combination of therapy and
counseling, peer networking, education, and a relaxing escape from
everyday challenges where participants can realize their hopes, dreams,
visions, and goals for the future.
Our simple mission is to
restore, empower, and renew hope for our wounded warriors and their
families. However, we have a significant and ultimate goal to establish a
holistic wellness environment through retreats and centers of
excellence, developed on a beautiful ranch, which supports targeted
physical rehabilitation issues, mental health and emotional support, and
health and wellness programs.
The RFTR event is a key fundraiser
that will support our goal of building the ranch and hosting wounded
warrior and family wellness retreats.
